I found a really cool looking tarot spread cloth over at Llewellyn.com. It is round with 13 appliqued stars on it. It does not call for any complicated stitchery - the pattern makes use of :
slip stitch
single crochet
double crochet
chain stitch
I may just have to give this one a try over the Summer.
